Write or call, and describe the situation in your own words. The person who answers is the one who will handle your case, not an operator passing a message on. The first consultation is free and commits you to nothing.

What to attach to your first message
The more precise the starting information, the more concrete the answer. If you have nothing to hand, write anyway — we will work it out as we go. But if you do have them, these help:
- the most recent discharge letter or doctor’s report — photographs of the pages are enough;
- test results and image reports from the past few months;
- the images themselves if you have them in digital form: CT, MRI, PET — a disc or an archive;
- the histology report, if a biopsy was done;
- a list of the medicines you are taking now.
You need not send translated documents — we do the translation into German, and it is part of the work. The originals in your own language are enough.
What happens next
We read the documents and, if something is missing for a decision, we ask. Then we propose a hospital and a doctor for the particular diagnosis — with an explanation of why those — and request a preliminary cost estimate. The estimate is issued by the hospital in your name; our fee is agreed separately and as a fixed sum.
After that, if you decide to travel: the invitation for the visa, the appointment, meeting you at the airport, an interpreter at appointments, accommodation. What exactly we take on has a page of its own.
If the case is urgent
When time is counted in days — an acute condition, the need for urgent admission, transporting a patient who cannot sit up — call the mobile, do not write. And look at the page Emergency care and urgent travel: it sets out what can be done in a day or two and which documents will be needed immediately.
Medical confidentiality applies to us as well: the documents you send are passed to nobody except the hospital you choose, and only with your consent.
