Klinik Josephinum is a small private hospital in the centre of Munich, on Schönfeldstraße. It is not a university complex with thousands of beds but a compact clinic of around 90 beds, treating a few thousand patients a year. Josephinum works as a hospital for planned medicine: assessment beforehand, surgery, post-operative care and early rehabilitation in one place. Both inpatient and outpatient care are available, with round-the-clock nursing for inpatients.

Equipment and particulars
The radiology department has a current Philips MR 5300 scanner with BlueSeal technology — a magnet that needs almost no liquid helium for cooling. For the patient it is an ordinary MRI examination; the difference lies in the reliability and environmental footprint of the installation itself. The interdisciplinary approach and the small size of the hospital make it quick to align the work of different specialists.
