He holds certified specialisations in interventional cardiology from the German Cardiac Society (DGK, since 2018) and special internal intensive care medicine (since 2019). His scientific achievements include the DGK Young Investigator Award (2017), the American College of Cardiology Young Author Achievement Award (2018), and the DGK Andreas Grüntzig Prize (2021). He acts as principal investigator for multicentre clinical trials and serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals, including The Lancet and JACC.
