Prof. Dr med. Sascha Pahernik (Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Sascha Pahernik) is Chief Physician of the Department of Urology and Head of the Continence Centre at Nuremberg Hospital in Nuremberg. Prof. Dr med. Sascha Pahernik has served as Director of the Department of Urology at Nuremberg Hospital since 2016. Since 2019, he has also directed the Interdisciplinary Oncology Centre (IOZ) at Nuremberg Hospital, coordinating multi-specialty care for patients undergoing cancer treatment in Germany.

Since 2017, he has held the position of Dean for Science and Research at Paracelsus Medical Private University. His scientific work includes participation in scholar exchange programmes for minimally invasive surgery in Beijing.
