Dr med. Fabian Patzschke (Dr. med. Fabian Patzschke) is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at Villa Bella Clinic, Munich. His main subjects are lipoedema, liposuction and body contouring, together with injectable treatments for the skin of the face.
Where the doctor practises and what they do
He has operated at Villa Bella in Munich since August 2025. One of his main fields is the treatment of lipoedema: a chronic, painful build-up of fatty tissue on the legs and arms, where the legs swell and hurt under pressure and neither diet nor exercise helps. This kind of plastic surgery is planned differently from purely aesthetic work: the stage of the disease, the state of lymphatic drainage and the number of sessions needed all matter.
The second field is liposuction and body contouring: removing fat deposits and tightening the skin of the abdomen, upper arms and legs, including after major weight loss. The third part of his work covers treatments without an operation: hyaluronic acid fillers, biostimulators that prompt the body to build its own collagen, preparations that relax the muscles of facial expression, and light-based treatments for the skin. He holds separate certificates for filler injections and for injections with muscle-relaxing preparations.
What they are known for
Dr Fabian Patzschke qualified as a nurse before studying medicine at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. In 2017 he began at the ENT clinic of the Mainz university medical centre, and from late 2017 to 2023 he worked in the department of plastic and hand surgery and the burns centre of the Bergmannstrost hospital in Halle. In October 2023 he qualified as a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, and until the middle of 2025 he worked at the Theresium clinic in Munich. He holds additional qualifications in radiation protection and emergency medicine and belongs to the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and to its forum for younger surgeons.
