Where the doctor practises and what they do
Prof. Dr med. Jens Werner works within general and visceral surgery (surgical treatment of the abdominal cavity organs) at the university medical centre in Munich. In his role as Deputy Director, he participates in managing complex clinical cases across abdominal surgical disciplines. Patients consult him when requiring specialized evaluation or surgical intervention for conditions affecting abdominal organs. The department collaborates with multidisciplinary oncology teams to coordinate comprehensive care for complex surgical cases, including advanced cancer diagnosis and targeted operative procedures.
