Д-р Даниель Лонич — пластическая хирургия

Dr Daniel Lonic

Priv.-Doz. Dr med. Daniel Lonic, M.D. (USA), is a plastic surgeon in Munich. His profile lies at the meeting point of two things that rarely come together in one doctor: reconstructive surgery of the face after injury and cancer, and aesthetic surgery.

Where he practises

Dr Lonic is the medical director of the MCLINIC centre in Munich’s Pasing district. He operates and holds consultations in the centre’s units: MFACE (facial surgery), MFORM (body contouring) and MHAND (hand surgery). From 2016 to 2021 he was a senior physician at Helios Klinikum München West.

What he does specifically

He is a certified specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery; he passed the European board examination in the speciality (FEBOPRAS) in 2010 and gained an additional qualification in hand surgery in 2019. His three main fields are:

  • craniofacial surgery — operations on the bones of the skull and face, including correction of congenital deformities and of the bite;
  • reconstruction after tumour removal and after injury, and work on scars;
  • aesthetic procedures, above all on the face.

He did his craniofacial training from 2014 to 2016 at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan — one of the few hospitals in the world where such operations are done in large numbers. He studied medicine in Marburg and at the John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu, completed his habilitation in 2021 and was made a Privatdozent, and since 2024 has held teaching rights in plastic surgery and hand surgery. Worth mentioning separately are his volunteer trips to Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia, where he operated on children with cleft lip and palate. He speaks German, English, Bosnian and Serbian.

How we arrange an appointment

We book the consultation, send the doctor the translated discharge letters, scans and photographs in advance, provide interpreting at the appointment, and help with accommodation and follow-up. You pay the clinic’s invoice directly at its own rates.

This material is for information only and does not replace a consultation with a doctor. Whether treatment is possible, what it will involve and what it will achieve can be determined only after an examination at the clinic in person.
