Since 2017, Dr Zecha has served as Chief Physician of the Department of Urology and Uro-oncology at Albertinen Hospital in Hamburg. His main clinical focus areas include general urology and uro-oncology (tumours of the urinary tract and male reproductive organs).
He performs robotic surgical procedures as a console surgeon using da Vinci technology. His clinical practice also incorporates interventional radiology methods and specialized ultrasound diagnostics (DEGUM sonography).

Dr Zecha studied medicine at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg from 1995 to 2002 and completed his doctorate at the University Hospital Zurich in 2012. His surgical training in visceral surgery and urology spanned institutions in Switzerland and Germany, including Dresden-Friedrichstadt Hospital, Martha-Maria Hospital Halle-Dölau, Magdeburg Clinic, St. Antonius Gronau, and Klinikum Stuttgart, where he served as Deputy Medical Director. He holds qualifications in emergency medicine and has completed leadership coaching programs. He is a member of professional organisations such as the German Society of Urology (DGU), European Association of Urology (EAU), GeSRU, ESRU, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and Rotary Club Stuttgart Weinsteige.
