He became a senior physician in 1998, completed his habilitation in 2002, served as leading senior physician from 2004, and received an adjunct professorship at Charité in 2007. He holds DeGIR certification for minimally invasive vascular medicine and oncology (Modules A–D) and DEGUM Level 3 ultrasound certification. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (England) and CIRSE, a board member of the Berlin Radiological Society, and a member of the German Radiological Society, DEGUM, and ESR.
